An adaption of the highly innovative Spike Coaster developed by Maurer Rides, this was a personal concept project which visualizes what a retrofuturistic version of this unique vehicle could look like – with a twist.
Taking inspiration from the golden age of shining Vespas and hastily modified muscle cars, specifically curved mirrors adorn the undersides, creating the illusion that this ride vehicle is hovering over terrain as it zooms low to the ground. Also of note is the simple utilization of painted coaster track which blends in with its smokey surroundings!
